In order to do our work, we rely on grants and contracts. These resources vary from year to year, while the needs of the children continue to grow. We are starting the Carlos A. Naranjo endowment account in honor of our beloved case manager, Carlos Naranjo, who passed away in 2016 due to pancreatic cancer. This account will be a permanent source of funding for pediatric case management in the New Orleans area. From 2007 – 2016, Carlos served as a case manager for Hispanic refugee children in the Greater New Orleans area with the New Orleans Children’s Health Project. He was an icon in the local Hispanic community and was a lifelong fearless advocate for child health. We are committed to continuing Carlos’ legacy to ensure that marginalized children in our community continue to receive the quality medical care they deserve. Please help us continue to connect refugee and vulnerable children in the Greater New Orleans area to critical services through support for case managers such as Carlos. Even small donations will have a compounding effect in the years ahead. Donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your help.
